Media Literacy
Film offers images, ideas, narratives, news, and advertisements in which we can see ourselves as members of groups and as being like (or not like) what we see. Film offers perspective and often influences our perception of the world around us and this is why media literacy is an important part of deconstructing messages sent through film and other media.
